Baton – Dance – Tumble – Pom
Start Date: Monday August 31, 2020
COVID: Due to Covid, Twirl Time has moved its location from the Pittsburgh Mills Mall to the Clement, 216 W9th Avenue, also located in Tarentum Pa. This allows us to have more control over our studio hours, openings, and closings. This location is located 2 blocks from the Tarentum exit, rt. 28 near the Tarentum Bridge. Just a few miles from the mall.
New Location: The Clement: The location is a former Catholic church and school. The owner has been transforming the property into a vintage community space that houses many small businesses and holds special events. He has many wonderful plans to keep revitalizing this wonderful landmark. His buildings have been featured in news stories.
Most of the homes that surround the church are families that have lived there for years, including one of our star students. The buildings have code security doors and security cameras. Street parking and a parking lot located across the street is available. The mall is one exit away, Lower Burrell and Natrona Heights just a few minutes from our studio.
Class Offerings – Covid: Our class offerings have changed due to the pandemic. Twirl Time is offering some individualized classes, and more combos in shorter time spans. We want the class to keep moving as our lesson plans are now geared to individual spaces and not working with partners, formations, or making close contact. We have the classes coordinated to keep the interest of the students and master single skills and choreography. Our goal is to have an upbeat, environment so the students look forward to class as we follow CDC guidelines.
Covid Policies will be distributed at sign up. Just a quick note.
NO WATER COOLERS/FOUNTAINS! EVERY STUDENT WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR BRINGING A WATER BOTTLE WITH A CAP. WATER ONLY!! No sugar drinks or food.
Everyone must wear a MASK.
Temperature Checks will take place for each class.
PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND CLASS IF YOU FEEL SICK.
Hybrid/virtual Learning program: You are signing up for in-person learning. However, if the Government shuts our studio down putting us back in the red zone, we will transfer over to virtual classes or a hybrid of both at a discount price. We do not want the learning and choreography to stop like last season. We want to have a show this year and will make it happen. Even if schools are not renting for recitals, we now have an event center that would allow us to have a series of small shows for our family! With strong support from our customers, Twirl Time will be able to survive Covid.
WELCOME BACK!!!!! WE MISS YOU!!!!! WE CAN’T WAIT TO GET TO WORK!!!!!
